Introduction to the tool and how to use it

Enter the positions to look up (one per line, 1 to 1000000) and click start to see which digit of π sits after the decimal point at that position, along with five digits before and after as context.

Position convention: digit 1 after the decimal point is the 1 right after the dot in 3.14.
The data is the first 1 million decimals of π pre-stored on the server, so lookups return instantly; up to 50 positions per request.

How to use

  1. Enter one position to look up per line (multiple positions separated by commas or spaces also work).
  2. Click Run.
  3. Copy or export each digit and its surrounding context.
