Introduction to the tool and how to use it
Digit Exclude Filter pulls out the numbers that do (or do not) contain certain digits — for example removing every code that contains a 4, or keeping only the ones whose last digit is 8.
Steps:
1. Paste your numbers; commas, spaces, line breaks or any other separator work;
2. Enter the digits to exclude — several are allowed (e.g. 4,7). Only 0-9 is recognised and anything else is ignored;
3. Choose where to look: "any position" matches a number that contains any of these digits, while "one position" only inspects the digit at the given position counted from the right (1 = units);
4. Choose the action: remove the matching numbers, or keep only those that match;
5. Click Run. The text box lists the result using your separator, the table below shows index, number and matched digits (copyable in place), and CSV export is available.
Note: signs and the decimal point are ignored when matching, and a position beyond the length of a number never matches.
